Verkada Guest Google Calendar Add-on
Let employees invite visitors via Verkada Guest directly from Google Calendar
The Verkada Guest Google Calendar add-on lets employees with a Google Workspace Business Account schedule events from Google Calendar and link them to Verkada Guest. Guest automatically collects visitor information before the event.
Enable the Verkada Guest Add-on
You must have a Google Workspace Super Admin role to install and manage Google Workspace Marketplace apps.
Go to the Verkada Guest app on Google Workspace Marketplace.
Select which users the add-on will be installed for:
a. To install the app for everyone in your organization:
Select Everyone at your organization.
Click Finish.
d. To install the app only for certain users:
Select Certain groups or organizational units and click Next.
Select the organizational units and groups that you want to install the app for.
Click Select.
Click Finish.
Sign in to the Verkada Guest add-on
Create Verkada Guest events in Google Calendar
(Optional) Toggle Let anyone register on the day of the event to allow on-site attendees to check in or register through the tablet or mobile portal.

Note: When this toggle is enabled, anyone can mark themselves as an attendee on the event day. The event appears on the tablet and mobile sign-in portal, allowing registered guests to check in and unregistered visitors to register on-site.
Review Guest events in Google Calendar
You can view Guest events, retrieve RSVP links, and update event details directly from Google Calendar.

Update events
The following changes delete and recreate the event in Verkada Guest, voiding all registrations and sending new registration emails to invitees:
Changing the event date
Moving the start time earlier
Changing the Guest Type
Changing the Guest Site
