View and Edit Camera Settings

Learn how to view and edit your camera's settings in Verkada Command

Each Verkada camera is architected to automatically connect to the Verkada cloud via a secure bidirectional communication channel to:

  1. Upload footage, archives, screenshots and thumbnails, plus alerts on certain event criteria (camera offline/online, Person of Interest, motion, tamper, crowds).

  2. Download firmware and update settings from Verkada Command (such as optical zoom and security enhancements).

View general camera settings

  1. In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Cameras.

  2. Select a camera site and below the video player, click Settings.

  3. On the General page, you can view general camera settings information, such as time zone, serial number, model, storage, and so on.
