Control Guest Type Visibility

You may want certain Guest Types to be used only for invites, while others can only be used for tablet-based sign-in. Visibility controls allow admins to decide where each Guest Type is available.

Configure Guest Type visibility

In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Workplace > Guest.

On the left navigation, click Guest Settings.

At the top, select Sites > your site.

Under Guest Types, click Manage Guest Types.

Next to the Guest Type, select .

Toggle the needed visibility controls:

a. Tablet: Allows visitors to sign in using the Guest app with this Guest Type. b. Mobile Sign-in: Makes this Guest Type available on personal devices. Visitors sign in by scanning a QR code with their mobile device. c. Invites: Allows any host to use this Guest Type for event registration through my.verkada.com and calendar shortcuts.
