Camera Notes

Document and search for important information related to your cameras

Notes allow you to add and organize information for cameras. Notes can be used to keep track of device installation points, maintenance requests, cleaning schedules, etc. You can search for cameras by their notes and view these notes as a column on the Devices page.

Create camera notes

You need Site Admin permissions to create camera notes.

In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Cameras .

Select the camera you want to configure.

At the bottom right, click Settings .

Under General >Notes, add the camera note.

Search camera notes

In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Devices .

In the search bar, use the notes: filter to find cameras that match the note.

Camera notes are available as a column on the Devices page and show up in the device list export.
