Use Live Translation During Intercom Calls
Enable real-time, two-way voice and text translation across 10 languages for Desk Station, Command, and the iOS Pass app
Live Translation enables visitors and receivers to communicate seamlessly, even when they don’t share a common language. When a language mismatch is detected during a call, users on a Desk Station, Command web, or the iOS Pass app can enable translation. The receiver can both read and hear the translated conversation in their selected preferred language, while the visitor at the intercom can hear the translated audio in their preferred language.
Supported receivers: Verkada Pass app (iOS), Verkada Desk Station
Supported intercoms: TS12-N-HW, TS12-N-RB-HW, TS12-N-R2B-HW, TD33-HW, TD52-HW, TD53-HW, TD63-HW

FAQ
Why does the audio translation lag behind the captions?
Captions update in real time as the visitor speaks, while translated audio generally plays at the end of a sentence.
What happens if the Visitor speaks multiple languages during the call?
Live Translation locks to the first spoken language detected at the start of the call. If the visitor switches languages afterward, the new language will not be re-detected or translated.
Why am I not seeing text transcriptions or translations?
Text transcriptions and translations are only available when Live Captions is enabled for intercom calling.
