Configure Live Translation for Intercom Calls
Enable real-time, two way voice and text translation across 10 languages
Live Translation enables real-time, two-way communication between callers who speak different languages. After a preferred language is selected on a Desk Station or the Pass app (iOS), the system detects language mismatches during intercom calls and surfaces a translate button, allowing users to enable translated audio for both sides of the conversation.
Supported receivers: Verkada Pass app (iOS), Verkada Desk Station
Supported intercoms: TS12-N-HW, TS12-N-RB-HW, TS12-N-R2B-HW, TD33-HW, TD52-HW, TD53-HW, TD63-HW

FAQ
What languages are supported?
The agent supports English, Spanish, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese, Italian, Dutch, Hindi, and Russian.
Why am I not seeing text transcriptions or translations?
Text transcriptions and translations are only available when Live Captions is enabled for intercom calling.
What happens if the Visitor speaks multiple languages during the call?
Live Translation detects the visitor’s language based on the first language spoken at the start of the call. If the visitor starts the call in one language and later switches to another, translation will not activate because the detected language does not dynamically update mid-call.
