Save the Verkada Alarms Monitoring Phone Number for New Alarms

Ensure calls during alarms reach you even if your phone is in Silent or Do Not Disturb mode

iPhone

Launch the Contacts app and select the contact for whom you want to enable Emergency Bypass. In this case, the contact will be Verkada Monitoring.

At the top right, tap Edit.

Scroll down and tap Ringtone.

a. At the top, toggle on Emergency Bypass. b. Tap Done.

Scroll down and tap Text Tone.

a. Toggle on Emergency Bypass. b. Tap Done.

Android

Ensure your Android phone is always set to ring**,** even in Do Not Disturb (DND) mode.

Open Do Not Disturb settings and locate the Exceptions or Allow Notifications section.

Look for options such as Calls, Messages, or People.

Select the setting that lets you customize who can bypass DND mode.

Choose Starred Contacts, Favorite Contacts, or a similar option to allow calls and messages from your important contacts.

Launch your contacts app and select the contact for whom you want to enable Emergency Bypass. In this case, the contact will be Verkada Monitoring. Mark them as a favorite or starred contact.

On some Android devices, you can also create a custom DND rule to always allow calls from the monitoring center’s number, regardless of contact status.
