# Supported Cameras for Video Alarms

Most Verkada cameras can be used as alarm triggers for both [new and classic alarms](/new-alarms/getting-started/new-alarms-vs-classic-alarms.md). Refer to the list below to see which camera models are supported as triggers for each system.
