How to Delete Unused Devices and Products
You will need to remove unused devices to keep your licensing in compliance

To use Verkada Command, you need valid licenses for your devices and products. If you have unused devices or products, you can delete them to avoid exceeding your license cap. Follow the instructions below to delete unused devices and products.

Licensed Devices

All hardware requiring a license (cameras, viewing stations, alarm consoles) can be deleted on the Devices page. To delete an unused device, do the following:

  1. Select the device(s) you want to delete

  2. Select delete from the menu at the top of the page

Doors

IO Controller

Navigate to Devices

Search for "model: AX11 IO Controller"

Select the IO Controller that you want to delete, then click on the photo of the controller

Air Quality Sensors

Alarm locations

Alarm locations can be deleted on the Manage Sites page. To delete an unused location, do the following:

  1. From the Alarms Home page select Manage Sites in the top right-hand corner

  2. Filter for the Alarm site name and select the trash can to delete it

    Note: You will need to delete all of the devices and sub-sites before you are able to delete the Alarm site location

Alarm Devices

  1. From All Products select Alarms

  2. Choose the site that the alarm device is in

  3. Select the Devices tab

  4. Select the device that you want to remove

  5. Select the 3 dots and then click Delete

Viewing Station

  1. From All Products select Devices

  2. Find your Viewing Station (you can type "vx52" on the search to make this easier)

  3. Click on the image of the Viewing Station

  4. Select the 3 dots on the top right of the page, then Delete

Intercom

  1. From All Products select Intercom

  2. Select the Intercom that you want to delete

  3. Select the Gear Icon on the top right

  4. Delete the Intercom

Desk Station

  1. From All Products select Intercom

  2. Select the Desk Station that you would like to delete

  3. Select the 3 dots on the top right

  4. Delete the Desk Station

Alarm Speaker

  1. Navigate to Devices

  2. Search for the Alarm Speaker that you want to delete (a quick way to filter your search is to search for "BZ"

  3. Select the check box near the device, then delete

Guest Tablets

Guest tablets can be deleted via the Guest page, underneath the settings for each Guest site. To delete an unused tablet, do the following:

  1. Select a Guest site that contains the unused tablet

  2. Click Admin from the Guest menu, and then select the desired site from the dropdown menu

  3. In the site settings, click Tablets, and then click on the unused tablet

  4. Click Delete Tablet to delete the tablet
