You need to remove a camera from your account when transferring it to a different organization or if it is no longer needed to prevent licensing issues. Document the serial number of the camera before deleting it if you need to re-add it to your organization.
Deleting a camera from Verkada Command erases all recorded footage and cannot be recovered.
Delete a camera
Command desktop
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Devices
.Click the checkbox next to the camera(s) you want to delete.
At the top right, click
Delete.Enter the verification code and click Delete.
Command app
Log in to the Command app.
Tap the camera you want to delete.
In the top right, click
.Tap Settings
> 
Delete Camera.Enter the verification code and click
Delete.
To reset a camera, delete it and re-add it to Command. This resets the camera name, site, settings, and map location.
