Delete Air Quality Sensors from Command

Learn how to delete and remove Verkada Air Quality Sensors from your organization

When you delete an air quality sensor from Verkada Command, you erase all of its data and reset it to factory default settings. This is a good way to reset the sensor and start over, move it to a different organization, or remove it, if no longer needed.

You must be an Org Admin with Site Admin permissions on the site that contains the sensor(s) to delete and remove sensors from your org. Learn more about Roles and Permissions for Command.

  1. In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Air Quality.

  2. Select the sensor you want to delete.

  3. On the sensor's page, at the top right, click Settings.

  4. On Edit Settings, go to Device.

  5. At the right of Delete Device, click Delete.

  6. Complete the validation prompt for the selected device and click Apply.


Delete a sensor from the mobile app

  1. In your Command app, go to Air Quality > Home.

  2. Select and tap the sensor you want to delete.

  3. At the top right, tap the option menu > Settings.

  4. Tap Delete Sensor.

  5. Follow the prompts to confirm.

Bulk delete sensors from Command

  1. In Command, go to All Products > Devices.

  2. Filter for device type: Air Quality.

  3. Check the box next to the sensors you want to delete.

    Alternatively, at the top, click the black box (with white vertical line) to select all devices within the site or org.

  4. At the top right, click Delete. Note: This may appear asif you're viewing from a mobile browser or a low-resolution monitor.
