Learn how admins can view doors in the Verkada access system

For Verkada Access Controllers, a Site Access Admin is able to view and manage doors.

If you are not an admin, but are system user, use the Verkada Pass App.

View and manage doors in your organization

To view all doors in your org, you must have Site Access Admin permissions.

  1. In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Access .
    You will see all doors in each site where you have permissions.

  2. Select a door's name (or image) to access that door's page.

  3. Configure the door with any of these actions:

    • View historical events on this door

    • Preview the video feed of an associated camera

    • Quickly lock and unlock the door

Filter access events on a door's page

  1. In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Access .
    You will see all doors in each site where you have permissions.

  2. Select a door's name (or image) to access that door's page.

  3. Select Events tab and click the Time Range dropdown to filter for events in specific time periods.

  4. Click Users to filter events by specific people using name or email address.

  5. Click the Event dropdown to drill down into whichever type of event you are interested in, such as Access Rejected.

  6. (Optional) Select the bar graph to display a graph of events against time. Click and drag to select an area on the bar graph to display the events within that window.
