E911 (Enhanced 911) allows intercoms to call 911 directly and automatically share the device's location with emergency services.
Configuration
Complete the steps in Unique Phone Number for Intercoms.
Complete the steps in Configure Your Intercom as an Emergency Phone.
In Verkada Command, go to
All Products > Intercom
.
Select your intercom.
At the top, click Settings.
Under the Enable 911 Receiver checklist, verify the following steps are complete:
Unique Phone Number
Address Registered
Under Call, toggle on Enable 911 Receiver.
Run a Test Call
In Verkada Command, go to
All Products > Intercom
.
Select your intercom.
At the top, click Settings.
Under Troubleshooting, place a test call to verify everything is working properly
Add 911 as a call receiver
See Add and Configure Receivers in Intercom to add 911 as a call receiver.
Important Configuration Requirements:
Select Emergency Response as the receiver type
911 must be the only receiver in its call group
The group with 911 must be the last step in the call flow
No one home messages will be automatically disabled for this step
The 911 call step will automatically be set to a 300-second ring duration
