The Patient Visit Guest Type allows hospitals to facilitate inpatient and outpatient visitors. The Patient Visit Guest Type can be configured differently for each Guest Site.
Configure Patient Visit Guest Type
An EMR integration must be set up before a Command organization can enable the Patient Visit Guest Type. Talk to your Verkada Sales Representative or Support to learn more about EMR integrations.
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest
.On the left navigation, click
Guest Settings.Select the desired Guest Site and navigate to Guest Types. Click Manage Guest Types.
Select Patient Visit. The following may be modified for the Patient Visit Guest Type:
Visitor Contact Information
Badge Photo
This step may be pinned to expedite future sign-ins
Allow self sign-out
Badge Content
Option to include department name
Option to include patient room number
