Visitor events can be managed directly from Command to streamline onsite check-in. The Guest Events page offers tools for organizations to print visitor badges ahead of time, review event headcount, resend registration emails, and address any concerns with expected visitors.
Manage Events
The Guest Events page is only visible to Workplace Site Viewers.
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest
.
On the left navigation, select Events
.
At the top, select your site.
Scroll through the events list or select dates from the calendar on the left to view events.
When you select an event, you will see the following information:
Resend registration emails
Registration emails can be re-sent to attendees who have not registered.
Individually
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest
.
On the left navigation, select Events
.
Select your event.
Select the attendee from the list.
Under Actions, select Re-send invite.
In bulk
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest
.
On the left navigation, select Events
.
Select your event.
In the top right, click
.
Select Re-send Invites
Pre-print badges
Visitor label badges can be printed from the Guest Events page for all registered attendees.
Individually
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest
.
On the left navigation, select Events
.
Select your event.
Select the attendee from the list.
Under Actions, select Print Badge.
In bulk
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest
.
On the left navigation, select Events
.
Select your event.
In the top right, click
.
Select Print Badges.
Sign in attendees
Registered attendees can be signed in by staff on the event day in one of two ways.
Events page
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest
.
On the left navigation, select Events
.
Select your event.
Select the attendee from the list.
Click Sign In.
Guest Home page
Registered attendees not signed in will appear in the visit log 15 minutes before their event start time.
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest
.
On Guest Home:
Select your site.
Click Sign In next to the attendee.
Security screening for attendees
If attendees register with a Guest type that requires security screening, their results and related information can be reviewed on the Guest Events page. Security screening occurs at registration. If an attendee's ID fails to scan, staff will be prompted to enter their full name and date of birth.
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest
.
On the left navigation, select Events
.
At the top, select your site.
Select Security Screening.
Select the attendee to review.
Attendees who require a review are grouped by event.
Attendees with security screening results must be reviewed before the event ends. They will not be approved for the event if not reviewed in time.
The attendee will be denied event approval if staff confirm a match between an attendee and an offender record.
