The BZ32 is a combined siren and strobe that deters intruders when an alarm is triggered.
It connects wirelessly to any VLink hub for easy deployment across sites. It can also connect to an RS-485 port on the BP52 panel or a relay output for wired installations.
Operational modes
Manual mode
Functions as a traditional siren strobe.
Sound and strobe color adjustments are made via sliders located inside the device.
Siren strobe will turn on when supplied power (10-36V).
Typically connected to relay outputs (BP52 Alarm Panel and BE32 Alarm Expander).
Smart mode
In smart mode, there are 2 connectivity options:
Vlink: Wireless connection to a hub. You can supply 10-36V DC power to the BZ32 (recommended) or leverage its batteries (see datasheet for battery life).
RS-485: Wired RS-485 connection to the BP52.
Offers expanded configuration options through Command.
Siren strobe will only turn on via communication of alarm raised events from the BP52.
You must toggle the mode selector switch to Smart mode before you power on the device.
