Mailroom organization settings

Mailroom organization settings allow you to configure settings that will apply to all your Mailroom sites.

View Mailroom organization settings

In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Workplace > Mailroom.

On the left navigation, click Mailroom Settings .

At the top, select Organization.

Configure Mailroom organization settings

Setting	Description
Account	Configure general settings such as Company Name and Logo & Colors. Note: These settings provide the default values for all Mailroom sites.
Sites	Convert pre-existing camera sites into Mailroom sites.
Employees	Choose who in your organization can receive packages. To add an employee, you can choose one of the following methods: Add individual—Manually adds users. Bulk upload CSV—The CSV (.csv) file must have the following case-sensitive headers: ​ Note: Both the phone and photo columns must exist; however, populating values for these columns is optional.
Notifications	Choose how users are notified when a package is delivered. Supported notification methods include email, SMS, Slack, and Microsoft Teams.
Users & Roles	Assign roles to Mailroom users based on their responsibilities.

Mailroom site settings

Mailroom site settings allow you to configure settings for individual sites.

In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Workplace > Mailroom.

On the left navigation, click Mailroom Settings.

At the top, select Sites > your site.

Configure Mailroom site settings

Setting	Description
Site Details	Configure general settings such as Company Name and Logo & Colors.
Language	Choose which language your recipients will receive package notifications in.
Scan Camera	Add a camera that can see where deliveries are scanned. Video clips are automatically generated when a package is scanned to help identify each item.
Context Cameras	Add more cameras to keep an eye on your mailroom at all times.
Pickup Locations	Indicate where employees should pick up their packages. You can also add context cameras to visually identify items and investigate issues.
Employees	Choose who in your site can receive packages. To add an employee, choose one of these methods: Add individual—Manually adding users. Bulk upload CSV—The .csv file must have the following headers, which are case-sensitive: ​ Note: Both the phone and photo columns must exist; however, populating values for these columns is optional. Sync with identity provider: —Alternatively, if your org has an existing SCIM integration, you can import employees from your SCIM-managed groups. Learn more about SAML/SSO. Note: A site-level employee list will override an organization-level employee list.
Remove Site	Remove a site from Verkada Mailroom. It will not affect your settings in Command.
