Learn how to access the GC31 Cellular Gateway's local server page

Updated over a week ago

The local server serves as a way for you to connect to Verkada's GC31 Cellular Gateway. You can apply custom access point name (APN) settings using the local server page.

To configure your SIM card prior to establishing a connection, use the local server.

  1. Connect the gateway to your laptop/computer with an Ethernet cable.

  2. Open your browser and enter verkadagateway.com or 192.168.1.1 to open the local landing page (GC31 or GC31-E), as shown below.

  3. Follow the instructions on the screen to reach the Local server page. By default, the APN is automatically (Auto) selected.

  4. (Optional) Set a custom APN: Select the Manual radio button and enter the details (as shown below).

  5. Click Apply.

  6. When prompted, confirm your configuration changes.

  7. Once connected, you can configure the SIM card though Verkada Command.

Note: The local server page remains open only for 5 minutes. Once the countdown is done, it refreshes.
