Enabling Notifications

Admins can choose what type of notifications users in their organization will receive when they have a package to pick up. Currently, email, SMS, and Slack notifications are supported.


  1. From the Mailroom Home page select the settings gear in the top left-hand corner

  2. Select General Settings

  3. Select Notifications and select the checkbox next to the desired notifications

Editing User Preferences

Once an admin enables notifications, users can also customize what type of notifications they would like to receive at my.verkada.com.


  1. Navigate to my.verkada.com

  2. Enter your email address and select your desired organization

  3. Select the menu icon in the top right-hand corner

  4. Select Edit Profile

  5. Under I prefer to be contacted via... select the desired contact methods

Package Pickup

Once a package is delivered users will be notified via their desired contact methods. And will be able to mark the package as picked up.
