Wide dynamic range (WDR) improves image quality in high-contrast lighting conditions. It enhances image quality by brightening dark areas and dimming bright ones. This results in a more balanced image that captures details in both well-lit and poorly-lit environments.
Edit WDR configuration
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Cameras
.Select a camera to configure.
At the bottom left of the camera feed, select the video quality menu.
Select WDR and choose one of the following options:
ON
DAY ONLY
OFF
Select DAY ONLY if image quality is reduced in night mode. WDR enhances contrast between light and dark areas, which can make night mode images appear darker.
