Configure D80 Fisheye Mode

Configure the D80 fisheye mode that best suits your environment

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Verkada D80 camera has two fisheye modes:

  • 180 Panoramic—Provides a 180-degree panoramic view, which is best used when the camera is mounted on a wall or a vertical surface.

  • Four-way split—Splits the image into four sections for a 360-degree view, which is best used when the camera is mounted on a ceiling or a horizontal surface.

Configure D80 Fisheye Mode

  1. In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Cameras .

  2. Select the D80 you want to edit.

  3. In the bottom right, click Settings .

  4. Under General > Fisheye Mode, click .

  5. Select the operating mode: 180° Panoramic or Four-Way Split.

  6. Click Save.

The D80 has a fixed-position lens. If you attempt to physically rotate the lens, it can affect the image, resulting in blurring. If this happens, rotate it back to its original position.
