This document will serve as a setup guide for configuring Verkada alerts for Slack. Through this integration, users will be able to receive any alerts that are generated by Verkada Command, including Person of Interest events, AI-powered alerts, door forced open events, TVOC alerts, and more!
Command configuration
In Command, go to All Products > Admin
.In the left navigation, select Org Settings
> Verkada API and Integrations.Under Integrations, click Add Integration.
Select Slack.
This will redirect you to the authentication page for Slack. Link your Verkada Command account with the Slack account you are currently logged into on your workstation.
Review the requested permissions required for this integration and click Allow.
When creating a new alert or editing an existing alert, users will now be able to add their Slack account as a recipient to their configured alert. These alerts will be sent directly to the user who has configured the notification. Learn more about setting up Verkada device alerts here!
