Verkada Guest Security Screening allows organizations across all industries to instantly vet visitors. Per Guest Type, organizations can configure a security screening step that require visitors to present an ID, which is used for searches across external databases. Guest offers a set of controls for the results returned by the feature as well as tools for responding to confirmed offenders.

Hide Incomplete Records
Incomplete records are records that are missing a photo of the offender and a complete date of birth for the offender. By default, incomplete records are displayed after all high quality records have been dismissed.
The Hide Incomplete Records toggle allows organizations to focus only on high quality records when reviewing security screening results. With the toggle on, incomplete records do not need to be reviewed. Guest users will still have the option to review incomplete records once high quality records have been dismissed:
To turn on the Hide Incomplete Records toggle:
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest .
On the left navigation, click Guest Settings .
Under Sites > Security Screening.
Toggle on Hide Incomplete Records.
A user must be a Workplace Site Admin to toggle Hide Complete Records.
Record Age Filter
The Record Age Filter allows organizations to display only records created within a specified number of years, counting back from the current date, as defined by the administrator.
To turn toggle the Record Age Filter:
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest .
On the left navigation, click Guest Settings .
Under Organization > Security & Data.
Toggle Ignore records older than... and set the desired number of years.
A user must be an Org Admin to toggle the Record Age Filter.
Configuring Security Screening Outcomes
Retention of Saved Identification Info
If a Guest user confirms a match between a visitor and a record from the security screening, the record as well as the visitor's identification information will be available on Command for an admin-defined period of time. When Guest Types are configured to save an image of visitor's IDs, these images will be saved for the period of time set in Retention of Saved Identification Info setting.
To turn toggle the Retention of Saved Identification Info:
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Guest .
On the left navigation, click Guest Settings .
Under Organization > Security & Data.
Under Retention of Saved Identification Info, input a number between 1 and 90.
A user must be an Org Admin to configure the Retention of Saved Identification Info setting.
