Connect a Verkada Camera via a Wireless Bridge/Point-to-Point Connection
Learn how to set up Verkada Cameras in locations where wired internet is unavailable
If it isn’t possible to run Ethernet cabling or fiber from a location that has internet connectivity to a location that doesn’t, you can use a wireless point-to-point (P2P) to bridge the connection. Wireless bridges have the ability to range from short distances, such as 98 ft (30m) to long distances as far as 62 miles (100 km).
Ideal conditions
Direct line of sight between both wireless bridges
Low wireless radio frequency (RF) interference
Throughput that meets the bandwidth consumption & uplink requirements
