# Add a Security Trailer to Command

The MT81 Cloud-Managed Security Trailer can be remotely managed via the Command platform. Add your device to your organization to enable remote management and alert configuration.&#x20;

MT81 Cloud-Managed Security Trailers are supported in both standard Command organizations and Government Solutions Command organizations. Use this article to commission a trailer in either a standard Command organization or a Government Solutions Command organization.

## Claim your trailer

### Command web

**In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Devices.**

**At the top right, click Add Devices.**
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Enter or scan the trailer's serial number.**
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Once added, you can find the device in the Unassigned Devices site.**

#### Set up your trailer

**In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Devices.**

**Under the Unassigned Devices site, select your trailer.**
{% endstep %}

**Click Set Up Gateway.**

a. Enter a unique name.

b. Select a site.

c. Enter a location.

**Click Apply.**

**Open the Command mobile app and log in to your organization.**

**In the top left, click Add Device.**

a. Scan the QR code or enter the serial number.&#x20;

b. Click **Add Devices.**
