Employee Portal
The Employee Portal lets hosts manage their contact preferences, privacy settings, directory appearance on the Guest iPad, and guest invitations for future visits. To access the portal, visit my.verkada.com.
Access profile settings
You can edit your profile info from the Profile tab on the Guest homepage
Log in to your account on my.verkada.com.
In the top right, click
> Edit Profile.
Edit your profile settings options as needed.
Profile settings options
Profile photo - Upload a photo to display in guest email and SMS notifications. You can also choose not to show a photo.
Notification preferences - Select whether to receive arrival notifications via email, SMS, or both. You can also delegate notifications to another user. (e.i. your colleague when you are on vacation, etc).
Preferred first name - Set a preferred name to appear on the Guest iPad (e.g., show “Bobby” instead of “Robert”).
Employee status - Choose to stay visible in the employee directory, require manual approval for each guest, or remove yourself from the list entirely.
Invite guests - Click Invite Guests to events to send invites through Google Calendar or Microsoft Outlook.
Hosts can delegate visitor notifications to other employees. Delegated recipients cannot assign notifications to additional users.
