License Plate of Interest Alerts
Learn how to configure License Plate of Interest (LPOI) alerts
Verkada’s License Plate of Interest (LPOI) feature allows you to define a list of license plates that will trigger an alert when detected.
To streamline and manage your License Plate of Interest (LPOI) list, you can:
Categorize and organize profiles using custom tags.
Quickly find POI profiles by searching tags.
Create custom tags for your POI profiles and then associate those profiles to those tags.
Configure LPOI
You must be a Site Admin for at least one (1) site in your organization to create an LPOI event. Learn more about roles and permissions for Command users.
Associate an LPOI to a POI
You can associate License Plate of Interest profiles with Person of Interest profiles. This makes it easier to review events when you investigate a specific person.
Configure alerts
On Recipients, you can search for or select other Command users individually or you can assign the alert to a group.
a. Any recipient added to this alert will see it appear under the Shared Alerts section of their Alerts page. b. Recipients can be notified either via a push notification, SMS, or email. c. By default, you will be added to the alert created. To remove yourself, select the dropdown menu and click Delete.
LPOI is configured on a per-organization basis. The LPOI list is shared among all users of the organization. Email and SMS notifications are configured on a per-user basis. When you enable SMS or email notifications, you will get notifications for all LPOIs in the organization.
