Sensor Settings

To edit the Verkada sensor's settings, select the gear icon in the top right of the sensor page.

This will open the Verkada sensor's settings menu.

Just like Verkada cameras, Verkada sensors can be added to a site or sub-site to define permissions.

To add a Verkada sensor to a site, select the drop down under Site and then choose your preferred site.

To set the location of the Verkada sensor, select the pencil icon below Location. This will bring up a map and search bar.

From here, you can type in an address or move the map to set the Verkada sensor location. Be sure to select Save to confirm the location settings.

Sensor Offline Notifications

You can set notifications for when the Verkada sensor goes offline.

You can select users to send these notifications to by using the Search users bar. Type the user's name and select the user(s) from the list by clicking on the checkbox. A checkmark will be placed next to the user's name.

To remove users, select the X next to their name below the search bar.

Use Celsius for Temperature

If you wish to view your temperature readings in Celsius, toggle the slide. The slide will become blue when Celsius is enabled. Otherwise, disable it to use Fahrenheit.

To change the timezone in which the sensor data is displayed, select the dropdown.

Select the relevant timezone. Your choice will be saved automatically.

Please note, this is how you set the time the data is recorded. The location/address set above does not set the timezone as it does on cameras.
