Share your Site Plans with users, contacts, and externally

You can share your Site Plan projects with:

  • Other Command users

  • Command contacts

  • External users emails

  • Public link (share a general link anyone can access)

Sharing a project does not grant external users access to log in to Command.


Share a Site Plan

  1. In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Site Planner .

  2. Under My Projects, select your project.

  3. In the left navigation, select your plan.

  4. On the right, click > Share.

Command users and contact

  1. Enter the name of the recipient.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Click Done.

External users

  1. Enter the email address of the recipient.

  2. Click Save.

  3. Click Done.

Links

  1. Set the Link access.

    • Restricted: Only people with access can open the link

    • Public: Anyone on the internet with the link can view

  2. If the link access is set to restricted:

    1. Enter the name or email address of the recipient.

    2. Click Save.

    3. Click Done.

  3. Click Copy Link.

  4. Share the link as needed.


Reassign ownership

Org Admins can reassign the ownership of any project. Organization members can reassign ownership from themselves to another Command user.

A project can only have one owner at a time.

  1. In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Site Planner .

  2. Under My Projects, select your project.

  3. In the left navigation, select your plan.

  4. On the right, click > Share.

  5. Next to a user, click the Viewer dropdown.

  6. Select Make Owner.

  7. Click Done.
