# スマートなデータ使用

Verkadaは、スマートデータ使用量により、ゲートウェイに接続されたカメラのビデオストリーミングを最適化します。ゲートウェイでスマートデータ使用量が有効になっている場合、接続されたカメラは次のように動作します:

* ライブストリームはデフォルトで標準品質（SQ）になります。必要に応じて、ユーザーは手動で高品質（HQ）に切り替えることができます。
* グリッドとViewing Stationでは、動きが検出されない場合にサムネイルが表示されます。動きが検出されると、カメラはビデオのストリーミングを開始します。
* クラウドバックアップとRTSPは有効にできません。

## スマートデータ使用量を無効にする

スマートデータ使用量はCellular Gatewayではデフォルトで有効、Wi-Fi Gatewayではデフォルトで無効です。Verkada以外のSIMカードを使用しているセルラーゲートウェイでは、この機能を無効にできます。
