Set up the Verkada + Fusus camera integration
Fusus by Axon is a real-time public safety platform that integrates live video feeds, data, and communication from various sources to provide a unified view for first responders and law enforcement agencies.
Through this integration, law enforcement agencies can combine Verkada’s hybrid cloud architecture with Fusus’ open platform. The integration enables users to stream both live and historical footage from Verkada cameras directly to the Fusus platform.
Verkada RTSP Configuration
The Fusus integration relies on RTSP streams to retrieve footage from Verkada cameras. Users must first enable RTSP in Command before adding their cameras to the Fusus platform.
Follow the steps outlined in Verkada’s Low-Latency RTSP to enable RTSP on your Verkada cameras.
Export device list
Command allows you to export a CSV list of all RTSP-enabled cameras in your organization with their respective URLs.
FususONE Setup
Once you have enabled and retrieved the RTSP URLs for your Verkada cameras, you are ready to add them to your FususONE account.
Select the Stream tab and enter the Verkada RTSP stream details. The following parameters are required to configure the camera stream:
a. FususCore for RTSP connection b. Hostname or IP address of Verkada camera c. Port number d. Verkada RTSP credentials e. Path (/standard or /high - depending on desired image quality)
