Door event retention

Currently, access control door events (e.g., access granted, access denied) and the constituent data (e.g., user, credential) are retained indefinitely. Verkada is exploring the possibility of automatically deleting Access Control door events 36 months (or longer) after they have occurred.

A customer can request Verkada's assistance to set a custom access control retention period of 1 - 36 months for their organization, after which access control door events for that organization will be automatically and permanently deleted.

Access Control door events can also be exported as a CSV for long-term external storage.
