Updated over 4 months ago

Doors are the configuration and components connected to a Verkada access controller cassette, including a lock, reader, door position indicator (DPI), and request to exit (REX).

You must be logged in with an Access Admin account to configure a door. See Roles for Command Users.

Add a door

  1. In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Devices.

  2. In the search bar, filter for device type: Access Controller.

  3. Select an access controller, then click the image of the access controller to enter its configuration page.

  4. At the top right, click Add.

  5. Click Door and follow the setup prompts to configure the door.

  6. Once a door is added, you can select it to see additional settings.
