# Verkadaカメラをファイバーで使用する

いくつかの状況では、遠隔地への接続を確保するために長距離ファイバー配線（>328フィート［100m］）が使用されます。メディアコンバータは、配線の終端でファイバーをPower over Ethernet（PoE）に変換でき、そこにカメラを接続することが可能になります。

ファイバー光ケーブルの終端に複数のカメラを接続する場合は、SFP（Small Form-factor Pluggable）アップリンクを備えた別のPoEスイッチを使用してデバイスを集約できます。
