# LLDP mit Kameras verwenden

Verkada-Kameras unterstützen das Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP). LLDP ist ein standardisiertes Protokoll der Sicherungsschicht, das über verschiedene Netzwerkgeräte hinweg verwendet wird, um deren Identität, Funktionen und Nachbarn in einem lokalen Netzwerk (LAN) bekannt zu geben.

Der Hauptvorteil der Verwendung von LLDP besteht darin, Netzwerkintegrationen und Fehlerbehebung zu verwalten. Ein Netzwerkadministrator kann beispielsweise schnell erkennen, welches Verkada-Gerät mit einem bestimmten Switch-Port verbunden ist, oder eine Richtlinie konfigurieren, um den Port basierend auf bestimmten LLDP-Informationen automatisch neu zu konfigurieren.

Verkada-Kameras übermitteln alle 30 Sekunden die folgenden Informationen:

* Geräte-ID
* Firmware-Version
* Seriennummer
* Herstellername (Verkada)
* Modellname
* Extreme Fabric Connect TLV
* Autonegotiationsfunktionen
