# Enterprise Controlled Encryption Device & Feature Compatibility

Enterprise Controlled Encryption (ECE) is not supported on the following camera models: D30, D40, D50, and D80.

WebRTC (live streaming) on PTZ cameras does not support ECE. When you enable ECE on PTZ cameras, it will only be enabled for historical streams, thumbnails, and hyper zooms.

## Interoperability statuses

#### Different ECE statuses

* **ECE Encrypted:** Feature is supported and encrypted with ECE.
* **ECE with Cloud Assist:** Feature is supported and ensures secure decryption with cloud support while controlling access to decryption keys.
* **Compatible:** Feature is supported, but will not be encrypted with ECE.
* **Incompatible:** Feature not supported when ECE is enabled.
