# Activity Detection Alerts

AI-powered Activity Detection alerts you to specific behaviors, such as falling, climbing, or fighting, instead of every minor movement. This reduces distractions and highlights important events.

{% hint style="danger" %}

* You need [Site Admin permissions](https://app.gitbook.com/s/NRq5qDDjsYNxwNzF1bcB/users-and-permissions/roles-and-permissions-for-command) for the site a camera is in to configure alerts.
* AI-powered Activity Detection is supported on the CD43, CD53, CD63, CY53, CY63, and CP63 cameras, and on the CF83 camera when operating in panoramic mode.

## Configure Auto-Archive for Fall Detection

Verkada can automatically archive event footage and create an incident report when a fall detection alert is generated. The following setup must be completed to enable this workflow:

* An Org Admin must enable **Auto-Archive for Events** in [Feature Manager](https://app.gitbook.com/s/NRq5qDDjsYNxwNzF1bcB/organization-settings/manage-your-admin-page-settings/feature-manager).
* Create a camera alert for fall detection. Each time the system generates a fall detection alert, it notifies the designated recipients and automatically creates a corresponding incident report.

The system saves the incident report to the [Incidents](https://command.verkada.com/incidents) page, where users can access video of the fall. Any user with Site Viewer permissions or higher for the corresponding site can access the incident.
