# スマートなデータ使用
ゲートウェイに接続されたデバイスのデータ使用を最適化する
Verkada は、スマートデータ使用量を用いて、ゲートウェイに接続されたカメラのビデオ ストリーミング機能を最適化します。ゲートウェイでスマートデータ使用量が有効になっている場合、接続されたカメラは次のように動作します:
* ライブストリームは既定で標準画質 (SQ) になります。必要に応じて、ユーザーは手動で高画質 (HQ) に切り替えることができます。
* グリッドおよび閲覧ステーションでは、動きが検知されていない場合にサムネイルが表示されます。動きが検知されると、カメラは動画のストリーミング機能を開始します。
* クラウドバックアップと RTSP は有効にできません。

## スマートデータ使用量を無効にする
Transportation のゲートウェイでは、スマートデータ使用量が既定で有効になっています。Verkada の SIM カード以外を使用している Transportation のゲートウェイでは、この機能を無効にできます。
