# Uso inteligente de datos
Optimiza el uso de datos para los dispositivos conectados a las pasarelas
Verkada optimiza la transmisión de video en cámaras conectadas a pasarelas con uso inteligente de datos. Cuando el uso inteligente de datos está habilitado para una pasarela, sus cámaras conectadas tendrán el siguiente comportamiento:
* Las transmisiones en vivo usarán de forma predeterminada la calidad estándar (SQ). Los usuarios pueden cambiar manualmente a alta calidad (HQ) si es necesario.
* En las cuadrículas y estaciones de visualización, se mostrarán miniaturas cuando no se detecte movimiento. Las cámaras comenzarán a transmitir video una vez que se detecte movimiento.
* La copia de seguridad en la nube y RTSP no se pueden habilitar.

## Desactivar el uso inteligente de datos
El uso inteligente de datos está habilitado de forma predeterminada en las pasarelas de Transporte. Puede desactivar esta función en las pasarelas de Transporte que utilizan una tarjeta SIM que no sea de Verkada.
