# Pair Alarms with Viewing Station

Display alarm events on your viewing station

A Verkada Viewing Station can show alarm video and event details for the sites you select.

***

## Configuration

{% stepper %}
{% step %}
**In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Devices.**
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Select your viewing station.**
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**In the top right, select** <i class="fa-gear">:gear:</i>**.**
{% endstep %}

{% step %}
**Under Alarms, select the sites you want the viewing station to receive events from.**

When an alarm is raised from one of these sites, the viewing station opens the video and event details in full screen.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

***

## Interact with alarms

* **Handle simultaneous alarms -** If multiple alarms are raised simultaneously, the viewing station displays them as tiles on the screen.

* **Navigate alarm events -** The viewing station shows the latest event and the live video of the context camera associated with that event. Use the up and down arrows on the remote to view clips of previous events in an alert.

<div align="left" data-with-frame="true"><img src="https://2259276529-files.gitbook.io/~/files/v0/b/gitbook-x-prod.appspot.com/o/spaces%2FNU1He6Uj2tgInV2VdCLQ%2Fuploads%2FgGAaffiQBjWOezfhJ6oM%2Funknown.png?alt=media&amp;token=26cb13eb-c803-45fc-9220-f71594dbafab" alt=""></div>

* **Minimize the alarm video -** Use the Apple TV remote to exit the alarm's video. To return, select the banner at the top of the screen or press the return button.
* **Resolved alarms -** The viewing station shows when an alarm is resolved. The viewing station does not support resolving alarms. See [Disarm Behavior After Alarm Resolution in New Alarms](/new-alarms/configuration/configure-an-alarm-response/disarm-behavior-after-alarm-resolution-in-new-alarms.md) for more information.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://help.verkada.com/new-alarms/events-and-alerts/pair-alarms-with-viewing-station.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
