# Guest Events
Visitor events can be created in a number of ways and can be managed directly from Command to streamline onsite check-in. The Guest Events page offers tools for organizations to print visitor badges ahead of time, review event headcount, resend registration emails, and address any concerns with expected visitors.

## Create Guest Events
[Hosts](https://help.verkada.com/guest/~/revisions/I1ptDZOwuKDgR6roKONt/configuration-and-setup/manage-host-lists-in-guest) in a Guest site can create events from:
* The Employee Portal
* A calendar application using [Calendar Shortcuts](https://help.verkada.com/guest/~/revisions/I1ptDZOwuKDgR6roKONt/configuration-and-setup/guest-events/create-guest-events-with-calendar-shortcuts)
* The Verkada Guest [Google Calendar add-on](https://help.verkada.com/guest/~/revisions/I1ptDZOwuKDgR6roKONt/configuration-and-setup/guest-events/verkada-guest-google-calendar-add-on)

## Manage Events

You need at least **Workplace Site Viewer** to view the Guest Events page.

#### In Verkada Command, go to **All Products > Workplace >** 
**Guest.**

#### On the left navigation, select **Events**.

{% step %}
#### At the top, select your site.

#### Scroll through the events list or select dates from the calendar on the left to view events.

When an event is selected, the following is visible:
* All invited attendees
* Status of invited attendees
* Time of the event
* Address of the event
* Event notes
* Event host

## Resend registration emails
Registration emails can be re-sent to attendees who have not registered.
### Individually

#### In Verkada Command, go to **All Products > Workplace >** **Guest.**

#### Select your event.
a. Select the attendee from the list.\
b. Under **Actions**, select **Re-send invite.**

#### In Verkada Command, go to **All Products > Workplace >** **Guest.**

#### On the left navigation, select **Events**.

### Pre-print badges
Visitor label badges can be printed from the Guest Events page for all registered attendees.
**Individually**

#### On the left navigation, select **Events.**

#### Select your event.
a. Select the attendee from the list.\

## Sign in attendees
Registered attendees can be signed in by staff on the event day in one of two ways.
### **Events page**

#### In Verkada Command, go to **All Products > Workplace >** **Guest.**

#### On the left navigation, select **Events**.
a. Select your event.\
b. Select the attendee from the list.\
c. Click **Sign In.**

### **Guest Home page**

Registered attendees not signed in will appear in the visit log 15 minutes before their event start time.

#### On **Guest Home:**
a. Select your site.\
b. Click **Sign In** next to the attendee.

## Security screening for attendees
If attendees register with a Guest type that requires [security screening](https://help.verkada.com/guest/~/revisions/I1ptDZOwuKDgR6roKONt/configuration-and-setup/guest-security-screening), their results and related information can be reviewed on the Guest Events page. Security screening occurs at registration. If an attendee’s ID fails to scan, staff will be prompted to enter their full name and date of birth.

#### Select **Security Screening.**
{% endstep %}
{% step %}
#### Select the attendee to review.
{% endstep %}

Attendees with security screening results must be reviewed before the event ends. They will not be approved for the event if not reviewed in time. The attendee’s visit is denied if staff confirm a match between an attendee and an offender record.
