Guest-Geräte verwenden DHCP und UDP, um ihre IP-Adressen und Netzwerkkonfigurationen zu beziehen. Wenn Ihr Guest-Gerät eine bestimmte IP-Adresse haben soll, erstellen Sie mithilfe der Media Access Control-(MAC-)Adresse des Geräts (auf dem Etikett des Geräts zu finden) eine DHCP-Reservierung. ## Domänennamensystem Guest-Tablets und -Telefone verwenden den DNS-Server, um die vollständig qualifizierten Domain-Namen (FQDN) von Verkada in IP-Adressen aufzulösen, um mit ihnen zu kommunizieren.
