The Verkada GC31 Cellular Gateway offers cellular network connectivity to your devices.
Once you set up your GC31, you can add it to your Verkada Command account to manage the gateway and view the status of the devices connected to the GC31.
Required. You must create a Verkada Command account to activate and configure a GC31. You must be an Org Admin to configure a GC31. Learn more about Roles and Permissions for Command.
Claim your GC31
Important: Before you begin, ensure that the GC31 has not already been added to an organization.
When you're ready, claim the GC31 (as you would for a camera):
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Devices
.On Devices, at the top right, click Add Devices.
When prompted, enter or scan the GC31’s serial number.
Once added, you can find the device in the Unassigned devices site.
Set up your claimed device
Once you’ve found your claimed device in the Unassigned devices site, select the Site and Location.
Click Apply to finish the setup process.
Once you set up your GC31, you should see the device appear under the Devices tab in the site it was added to. This is where you can then access the GC31's details.
