Place a test call to test your intercom call set up
Verkada video intercoms enable seamless calling to designated receivers. Through the Verkada Command dashboard, calls can be configured to route to a phone number, a desk station, or directly to a user via the Verkada Pass app. Place a test call to verify your configuration.
Before you begin
The intercom must be added to Command.
The intercom must be plugged into a Power over Ethernet (PoE)-enabled switch.
Place a test call
In Verkada Command, go to All Products > Intercom.
Select an intercom view you want to test.
At the top, click Settings.
In the left navigation, click Troubleshooting.
You should see a live feed of the intercom, along with any additional paired camera(s).
Under the feed, click Select a Receiver.
Select one of the receiver options.
Click Initiate Test Call.
Once the receiver answers, the call session begins, and the receiver can unlock the door or end the session.
You can change the intercom audio volume under Settings > Audio.
