How to mount the TD52
The TD52 can be mounted using a flush mount or it can be mounted using a mounting bracket.
In both conditions the front cover of the TD52 should be removed in order to access the screw holes that will allow it to be installed on a mount.
To remove the front cover of the TD52:
using a T10 security torx screw driver remove the security screws located at the bottom of the front cover
once the screws are removed proceed to slide the front cover up and then out
when the front cover is removed there are four screw holes in each corner of the TD52. These screw holes will be used to install the TD52 to the mount.
Mounting the TD52 using a flush mount
The TD52 comes with a flush mount in the box. The flush mount can be used for the following conditions:
Legacy intercom back box (A)
Direct wall mounting (B)
4 gang Junction box mounting (C)
In the following diagram the screw holes are listed to show how the Intercom can be mounted given the above conditions:
screw holes corresponding to A can be used to mount to an existing intercom back box
screw holes corresponding to C can be used to mount to a 4 gang junction box
Mounting directly to a wall
take the flush mount plate and hold against the desired surface
using the mount plate as a template mark the wall to line up with screw holes labeled B
Drill pilot holes in the wall
for direct mounting drill 3mm pilot holes
if wall anchors are being used then drill 6mm pilot holes
use the screws supplied to attach the mount plate to the wall
with the flush mount plate on the wall remove the front cover of the TD52.
place the TD52 on top of the flush mount plate and install it using the supplied screws.
Mounting the TD52 using a mounting bracket
The mounting bracket can be used to install the TD52 on to various surfaces that the flush mount plate cannot, they are typically used to mount the TD52 on an exterior surface.
take the mounting bracket and hold it against the desired surface.
using the mount as a template mark surface through screw holes labeled A
Drill pilot holes into the wall
for direct mounting drill a 3mm pilot hole
if wall anchors are being used drill a 6mm pilot hole

with the mounting bracket installed remove the front cover from the TD52
