To add a printer to Verkada Guest, you first need to note the pin code which is used to enter the settings menu on your assigned Guest tablet. To find the pin code follow the below steps.
Browse to All Products > Guest
Select Admin on the left-hand sidebar
Use the dropdown menu in the upper left-hand corner to select the site where you would like to add a printer.
Once on the site settings page, select Printers in the list of menu options to scroll down and view the pin.
In the Printers section, you will see the PIN code used for entering the settings menu on your Guest tablet.

Printer Troubleshooting
Unable to Add Printer to Guest App
If you are unable to find the printer that you intend to add to Verkada Guest we recommend the following:
Ensure that you are using a supported printer
Ensure that your printer is on the same Wi-Fi network or wired network as the tablet
Plugin your printer on the wired network to ensure that it is getting a connection to the LAN
After ensuring that your printer is on the same LAN, we recommend rebooting the printer
If the printer is on the same LAN as the tablet and you are still unable to see the printer, we recommend reaching out to your printers support to continue troubleshooting
Unable to Print Badges
In this scenario either the printer is not printing as expected or the Print Badge button is greyed out as shown below.
To check the status of the printer you can use the Printers page in the site settings and then select the printer in use, this will show the status of the printer that you are using.
We should first start by ensuring that the printer is plugged in
Once the printer is plugged in, verify the network that the iPad is on and ensure that the printer is on the same network by plugging in the printer directly to the LAN
If the printer is on the same network, wired or wireless, as the tablet and you are still unable to see the printer we recommend reaching out to your printer's support to continue troubleshooting
Badges Not Printing in Color
Ensure you have a color printer added to your site
Ensure the printer has sufficient ink to print the colors you specified for the badges
Note: If these steps do not resolve your issue, you will need to contact your printer manufacturer for further assistance.
Low Print Quality
Connect your printer via IP address rather than Airprint as IP address retains better image fidelity
