To enhance the security of your Command account, Verkada requires that all Command users have verified email addresses. When you verify your email, you ensure that you will receive all notifications and emails related to your Verkada Command account. It also ensures that you can receive any configured alerts in your org.
Verify your email for your Command account
Required. You must verify your email to receive any configured alerts in your org.
Log in to your Verkada Command account.
At the bottom left, select your organization name.
If you see a green checkmark by your email, your email is verified and no other action is needed.
If your email is not verified, click Verify Email.
This sends a verification email from [email protected] to the address listed. (Check your spam folder if you don't see it arrive.)
Select Account Settings and your email should show as verified.
Click Continue to complete the verification process.
That's it! The link directs you to the Command Home page, your email address is now verified, and you can continue to use Command as usual.
Verify your phone number for your Command account
Required. Verifying your phone number is required to receive SMS notifications related to your Command account.
Note: You can only edit and verify your own phone number. If you are a SCIM-managed user, your phone number is automatically verified.
Log in to your Command account.
At the bottom left, select your organization name.
On the left slide out, click My Account.
On Profile, enter your first and last name, e-mail address, and phone number.
Under the phone number, click the Resend verification SMS link.
On Verify Phone Number, enter the code and click Verify.
When the verification is successful, Verified will appear next to your phone number.
