If your Access Controller becomes unresponsive, is not working properly or Verkada Support requests the controller be rebooted, here are the steps:


  • User must be an Access Admin and an Site Access Admin for the site the controller is a part of

  • The Access Controller must be online to be able to receive a restart command

Note: If the controller show's an "Offline" status, rebooting the controller via Command will do nothing. You will have to unplug the AC41 and plug it back in manually to restart it.


Select Devices in the menu on the left

Click the controller you want to restart, then click the controller's image on the right.

Click the Settings tab

Click Restart
