You can set the video quality for grids you create. The mode you select can achieve less latency, higher video definition or lower bandwidth usage. SD will have shorter delay off of real time and lower bandwidth than HD. HD is better quality at the price of increased bandwidth an delay.

Steps to adjust the Video Quality

Changes to video quality can only be made to custom grids you create. If you haven't done so you will need to create a grid first because the default All Cameras grid cannot be modified.

  1. Log in to Verkada Command and open the custom grid you would like to set

  2. Click on the gear wheel to open the option menu

  3. In this menu, select the Video quality option
