Each model has a housing, integrated temperature gauge, and heater designed to be utilized in extreme weather and temperature conditions. The specifications for outdoor use are shown below:

Operating temperatures

  • -20°C - 50°C (-4°F - 122°F) with PoE 802.3af

  • -40°C - 50°C (-40°F - 122°F) with PoE 802.3at (heater will turn on around -20°C)

Note: The CM41-E has an operating temperature of -40°C - 50°C (-40°F - 122°F) with PoE 802.3af.

Moisture

The outdoor dome series cameras come with a desiccant pack. Place the pack above the Attach Desiccant Here label on the camera body as shown below. 

Note: The Bullet series and CF81-E fisheye cameras are designed to be fully sealed and therefore do not require a desiccant pack.
